| Wingold Grange Anniversary
Wingold Grange #308 Turned 100 years old this year officially receiving their charter March of 1809. On Saturday June 27, 2009 Wingold Grange #308 will be celebrating their 100th years of service with a small party.
We will be officially donating the curtains, we purchased for the town hall, to the town. Recognizing Past Masters, and people that have been members of the grange for 25-80 years.

New Hampshire’s new Commissioner of Education, Dr. Virginia Barry, began her work on June 1. During the following week she made two visits to SAU 16, accompanied by Roberta Tenney from the state Department of Education. The town of East Kingston is seeking community and school input on how best to spend a $300,000 gift from a long deceased industrialist, who had an affinity for the town and elementary education.

| There was a Seabrook Station Alert that was inadvertently triggered in East Kingston this morning at around 8:15am causing some of the sirens to activate.
The Alert was caused in error while Seabrook Station was testing the Massachusetts alert system.

EXETER — Two cases of the H1N1 flu were reported at Phillips Exeter Academy on Monday, but the school said the ill students are recovering nicely and graduation will go on as scheduled on Sunday.

The 26th Annual Sweepstakes event will take place on Friday, June 19 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the Ashworth by the Sea in Hampton Beach.
